For those who don't know, a week ago today was my 22nd birthday! My brother's birthday is the day before so as a joint celebration, the family assembled went for dinner at a local 60's themed restaurant called Sgt Peppers. Following that, with my boyfriend, best friends and their boyfriends, we hit the town!
I was a bit rubbish and didn't really take any pictures of my outfit, but here's a sort of what I wore:
This dress is from New Look. I bought it especially for the occasion, and I love it! I feel comfortable in it, especially because of the length. With shorter dresses I feel like I'm always pulling it down, but this dress sits just past my knees and looks great.
The bag and shoes I bought a while ago and featured in a haul post in September last year.
Of course, a birthday wouldn't be complete without presents and I was well and truly spoilt!
From the boyfriend I received two bags of sweets, two bottles of Cava, Cath Kidston Oyster card holder, Marc Jacob's Daisy Handbag perfume, Book, Marc Jacob's watch and a giant Millie's cookie.
From the best friends, I got Nicki Minaj's perfume 'Pink Friday' which I adore! For a celebrity scent, its surprisingly nice! I find some celebrity scents are very strong and sweet smelling but this is very different.
And, a little gift to myself. I've had my eye (and nose) on this for a while so when I saw it reduced by £20 in Boots I quickly snapped it up!
