DIY Fashion: Bleached stars & stripes

Hi there! I have some more DIY Fashion for you!

I've been at the bleach again, only this time on a t-shirt!

What you will need:

A t-shirt

Bleach

Bowl

Brush

Masking tape/labels
Cardboard

If you read my last bleach DIY fashion, you may remember my warning about what to wear. If not, wear old clothes, just in case!

1. Put some cardboard in side the t-shirt. 

2. Using masking tape and sticky labels, mark out the areas you don't want to bleach.

3. Put some bleach into the bowl and using the brush, paint the areas you want to bleach.

4. Carefully pull off the labels and tape and watch the bleach develop.

5. When you feel the colour has faded to a desired shade, rinse in a bowl of water and either hand wash or machine wash it, then dry! Once it's dry, it's up to you whether you want to do anything else to it. I chose to do some snipping and alter the neck hole, and roll the sleeves up.
